Federal law requires employers to hire only persons who can establish that they are eligible to work in the united states. i understand that any job offer made to me is contigent upon producing the necessary proof that i am authorized to work in the united states.

In consideration of my employment by Red Rocks Cafe,Bar and Bakery.. (“the company”), and in consideration for the salary or wages to be paid by the company to me in connection with such employment, i hereby covenant and agree with the company as follows:

1. I understand and acknowledge that during the course of my employment by the company i will have access to the company’s trade secrets and to confidential or proprietary information belonging to the company. i acknowledge that the company’s recipes and unique operating procedures constitute trade secrets belonging to the company. i understand that the company’s trade secrets and confidential or proprietary information constitute valuable assets of the company.
2. During the period of my employment by the company, and for any period two years thereafter, i will not directly or indirectly use or disclose to any individual, corporation, partnership, or any other entity that is engaged in the business of owning or operating a restaurant or otherwise preparing food for sale to the public all trade secrets and confidential or proprietary information relating to the company or to the company’s business, including without limation information relating to the company’s recipes, unique operating procedures, and financial condition.
3. This agreement shall not be interpreted or construed to replace or in any way affect any rights that the company would have in the absence of the agreement under any provision of law.
4. I acknowledge receipt of the handbook. i will familiarize myself with the information in the handbook. i understand that nothing in the handbook in any way creates an express or implied contract of employment between the company and myself and that no representative of the company has the authority to enter into any agreement for employment or to change the at-will employment relationship or to make any agreement contrary to the foregoing.
5. I have read and understand the rules and policies set by Red Rocks Cafe,Bar and Bakery.

To the best of my knowledge, i understand that any misrepresentation or omission of the information requested is a cause for dismissal. i understand that i must comply with red rocks cafe,bar and bakery regarding personal grooming, hygiene and dress code.

Further, i understand that Red Rocks Cafe,Bar and Bakery. approves the practice of sharing tips among its tipped employees. i understand that Red Rocks Cafe,Bar and Bakery. will use tips as a credit against the minium wage as permitted by federal and/or state laws.

Also understand that Red Rocks Cafe,Bar and Bakery. may choose to open on any given holiday and that such day will be regarded as a normal working day.
